Victoria spent the first three months of her life in Fukuoka, where her father, US Air Force Sergeant Victor Rocco Principal was stationed; she was then raised alongside her sister Kim in London, England and various US states, by Victor and their mother Ree (nee Veal) who was a housewife.
Victoria was five when she appeared in her first commercial, while she grew up being interested mostly in ballet.

Who is Victoria Principal?
American actress, producer and author Vicki Ree ‘Victoria’ Principal was born in Fukuoka, Japan, on 3 January 1950, making Capricorn her zodiac sign.
Her fourth and only other book – “Living Principal” – was published in 2001.
She and her late boyfriend Andy Gibb released their duet song “All I Have to Do Is Dream’ in 1981, and it peaked at #51 on the US Billboard Hot 100 chart.
Victoria’s been a philanthropist since the launch of her career, and is mostly focused on environmental issues; she donated $200,000 for the cleaning-up of the Gulf Coast region on 2 June 2010, and $100,000 for the Malibu ballot initiative Measure R in October 2014.
Her father, a United States Air Force sergeant, was often transferred to different duty stations, so the family constantly moved, and Victoria grew up in London, Florida, Puerto Rico, Massachusetts, and Georgia, among other places. Victoria’s debut film role was playing Maria Elena in the 1972 romantic comedy “The Life and Times of Judge Roy Bean”, directed by John Huston, and which starred Paul Newman, Ava Gardner and Roy Jenson.

Victoria made her debut TV series appearance in the 1973 episode “Love and the Perfect Set-Up” of the romantic comedy “Love, American Style”, and was then cast to appear in an episode of the romantic drama “Love Story”, the crime mystery “Banacek” and the family fantasy adventure “Fantasy Island”.
From 1978 through 1987, she starred as Pamela Barnes Ewing in 251 episodes of the romantic drama “Dallas”, which David Jacobs created, and which also starred Ken Kercheval and Larry Hagman.

Victoria has six producing credits, which include the 1990 thriller movie “Sparks: The Price of Passion”, the 1991 thriller film “Don’t Touch My Daughter” and the 1992 horror thriller movie “Midnight’s Child”.
